$55 per person ages 14 and over.     Ages 4 - 13 $4.00  per year of age 

 (i.e. A 12 year old is 12 x $4 = $48)

 Group rates available for 10 or more people.

 (Must be 14 years and over for group rate)

Itinerary:

 

9:45 A.M. ~ Arrive at Yoder’s Amish Home. 

                    6050 SR 515 Millersburg, Ohio 44654

                    (3 miles north of Walnut Creek on SR 515.)

 

10:00 A.M. ~ Depart with the local Backroad Tour Guide in our sightseeing vehicle.

  •  Detailed narration about the Amish Culture
  •  Features stops at Amish Artisans' small businesses
  •  Snack break (on your own)

 1:30 P.M. ~ Return to Yoder’s Amish Home  (Allow an additional 1 1/2 hours)

  •  Continue with the tour of 2 Amish homes, farm animals and barn
  •  Enjoy your buggy ride
  •  See and tour the proto-type Amish one-room school house

"Yoders Amish Home & Dinner Tour

  (Includes a Meal in an Amish home)

 

Monday - Saturday        April 13 - October 26, 2009        

$75 per person-tour & dinner* ages 14 and over. 

       Ages 4 - 13  $5.50 per year of age

$55 per person-tour only ages 14 and over. 

      Ages 4 - 13 $4.00 per year of age

Group rates for 10 or more people.

 

Itinerary:

12:00 P.M.  ~ Arrive at Yoder's Amish Home. 

          Tour 2 former lived in Amish homes, enjoy a buggy ride, tour the proto-          type one room school house, barn, farm animals & Gift shop.

                         

  2:00 P.M.

         Depart for the 3 Hour back road tour.

         Features stops at Amish Artisans' small businesses, detailed narration 

         on Amish Culture, places of interest. 

  • *5:00 p.m. - Return if no Meal
  • *5:30 p.m. – Meal in an Amish Home
  • *7:15 p.m. – Return to Yoder’s Amish Home

*Please note that a minimum of 8 total reservations are needed for a meal in an Amish home. In the event that the minimum is not met or you do not desire to have dinner, you will return to Yoder’s at 5:00 p.m.  The total cost of the tour will be $55 per person. In the event we do not meet the minimum of 8 reservations, the meal may be held at an Amish homestead in their church building along with a larger group. Meals will not be canceled unless there are no other options available.

$59 per person - *Dinner tour  Ages 12 and over.  Available at the 1:00 Tour

      Ages 4 - 11,  $5.00 per year of age

 

Itinerary:

 

9:30 A.M. ~ Arrive at the Amish & Mennonite Heritage Center.

  • Tour the historical, artistic cyclorama mural to learn the History.

10:30 A.M.

  • Depart for the 2 1/2 Hour Backroad Tour in a climate controlled sightseeing vehicle
  • Detailed Narration about the Amish Heritage
  • Visit at least one Amish Artisan small business & stop for a comfort and snack break.  (Snack on your own) 
  • 1:00 p.m. - Return

 Cast Iron Skillet Tour - Departs from Lehmans Hardware

                                                

Monday - Saturday

$49.00 per person

Itinerary:

Departure Time - 9:30 AM  from Lehmans Hardware in Kidron.

  • Visit a working Alpaca Farm and demonstration on making Fiber Arts
  • Visit a Swartzentruber Amish basket maker.  She will give a demonstration on making baskets.  Her produts are for sale.
  • Return to Lehmans at 11:30 AM
  • Enjoy lunch at Lehmans at the Cast Iron Cafe
  • Each person receives a small souvenir from Lehmans
